Leyla GASIMOVA, President and founder of the ED Ball Association. She is a TEDx speaker ( https://youtu.be/HE9EX89OfW8). Gained her first Master’s Degree from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2015, specializing in the field of Educational Leadership and Human Resource Development. Completed the second Master’s in Nordic Welfare at Halmstad University, Sweden, and have been working with the Administrative Support Unit of the University to bring the best social practices of the Nordic States to post-Soviet countries. Degree-qualified Educational Management Specialist. Localization Advocate of the worldwide famous online educational platform, Khan Academy, in Azerbaijan.
In 2019, she was Nominated for the Global Swede 2019 Award by Foreign Affairs of Stockholm for her high commitment to global issues, gender equality, social development, and meeting the basic principles of the Sustainable Development Goals.
She has significant experience in working with state and civil society organizations, management, and delivering projects at international institutions (European Parliament, West Minister, UN Institutions, etc.), and she has a working knowledge of conflict analysis, policy, strategic development, and conflict prevention. Has a proven record of accomplishments in projects in the field of innovative learning and teaching methods. Developed many educative and creative projects in the area of sustainable development goals. Has delivered several successfully executed innovative social and environmental sustainability, peacebuilding, and educational projects/programs emphasizing cross-cultural relationships and social interaction.
Has an excellent knowledge of and extensive experience in the South Caucasus context, Syria, Myanmar, and Kashmir, including dialogue and conflict prevention initiatives, social development, and protection of IDPs and refugee rights.

He is an ambitious professional with a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management. His academic journey in HRM has equipped with a profound understanding of organizational dynamics and personnel management, skills which are crucial in the realm of project management.
His experience in HR has honed my abilities in team leadership, conflict resolution, and strategic planning. These skills are directly transferable to the role of a project manager, where understanding team dynamics and effectively managing resources are key to success.
He is distinguished himself in the field of project management through his successful execution of multiple projects across various companies. His expertise in HRM has been instrumental in understanding and leveraging human capital to achieve project goals effectively. His ability to seamlessly blend HR strategies with project management principles has led to efficient team management, enhanced productivity, and the successful delivery of projects.
His work across different organizational cultures and business domains has endowed him with a versatile skill set, making him proficient in navigating complex project landscapes. Naveed is known for his strategic planning, problem-solving acumen, and ability to drive projects to completion, consistently meeting and exceeding company objectives. AYAZ KARIMOV
He holds a bachelor’s degree with majors in Public Finance and a minor in Economics. He pursued his master’s degree in Innovation and Technology Management at the University of Tartu in Estonia. Presently, he serves as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland. Ayaz possesses a wealth of experience in team management, having led teams of over 200 individuals and successfully launching new products from inception. Prior to his current role, he collaborated with various international organizations, including the United Nations and others. These collaborations were centered on advancing Sustainable Development Goal 4, which focuses on Quality Education.
Seymur Malikov
East or West, flawless translation is best.” Hi, I am Seymur Malikov; since December 2019 Math Translator at Khan Academy Azərbaycanca; what’s more, I graduated from Sabanci University. Along with others, I also volunteered in this project to contribute to Azerbaijan’s education system. In 2020, we started working on video content, and I became responsible for translating and proofreading videos. Today, I am a video translator of Art content and feel happy to share the platform with people who are committed to impacting the education of thousands of people.
Dr. Elvin Abbasbeyli
Director of international and local interpretation and translation services
Dr. Elvin Abbasbeyli studied his B.A. (2001) degree in Translation and Interpreting at Azerbaijan University of Languages and his two M.A. degrees (2003 and 2010) in Professional Translation and in Conference Interpreting at ITI-RI (Institute for Translation, Interpreting, and International Relations) of University of Strasbourg in France. He got his PhD degree in Translation Studies at the University of Strasbourg in (2017). He is a Member of AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters) and official interpreter of the President of France and his Government. He interprets also for some international organizations (European Union, Council of Europe, United Nations and NATO). He taught conference interpreting at some universities in France, South Korea and Türkiye. Dr. Elvin Abbasbeyli has been working at Khazar University since 2023. He teaches Consecutive interpreting techniques. He is currently Coordinator of the Center of Translation and Interpretation at Khazar University.
